We are looking for students interested in developing novel algorithms for machine intelligence. Candi- dates should have an excellent Masters degree in computer science, mathematics or physics. Coding skills, as well as experience in areas like machine learning, statistics, or numerical methods are desirable. Most important is a strong interest in the mathematical concepts and computational aspects underlying machine intelligence. There is no deadline; PhD positions are continuously available for suitable candidates.

The MPI for Intelligent Systems in Tübingen is a world-class center for foundational research in machine learning, computer vision and robotics.
